How would you describe yourself in 5 attributes?

“Confident, adaptable, understanding, driven and an excellent communicator.”

Darren with over 19 years of experience in the property market you are truly a specialist. What is your personal motivation that keeps your passion alive on a daily basis?

“My motivation is my family and the desire to be the best I can be; in work and in my personal life. I’m lucky that I love my job and I love property, so it makes it easier for me.

Regarding my family, I want to give them the best life possible, the best opportunities and be the best father I can be.

Regarding my career, I want my clients (sellers and buyers) to have the best experience possible when I’m representing them. I want to market the property better than anyone else could, negotiate better than anyone else would try to and ultimately care a lot more than anyone else would want to. What does ‘better’ mean? Ask me, I’m more than happy to explain!”

Dubai has a lot of exiting communities to offer. What makes Emirates Living attractive comparing to other places?

“Emirates Living has so much to offer! You’re five minutes to Dubai Marina and the beach at JBR, you can access SZR immediately, you’re only a 10 – 15 minute drive to anywhere you’d like to be in Dubai. DXB airport can be reached within half hour (traffic permitting) plus the Al Maktoum airport will be similar. Emirates Living is a diverse gated community with two bedroom townhouses available up to AED 100 million mansions, all landscaped to the highest standards. There’s parks and pools available to residents, along with restaurants and the Lakes Club for example. There’s shopping centres, amazing golf courses, outstanding schools...And it’s Emaar! It’s the perfect family community.”

Apartments, townhouses or villas – what house type brings the biggest challenge to match with customer’s requirements?

“I think the biggest challenge of all relates to all types; the challenge to really know what your clients want and what they need. Understand your clients, find out what’s important, what matters. When you do this, you can match far easier. And in the process, do a far better job for your clients.”

What are your top 5 amenities within the Emirates Living Community?

“The Schools (Emirates International School, Dubai British School, Dubai International Academy), Lakes Country Club, Montgomerie Championship Golf Course, Springs Town Centre and Meadows Village.”
