About the community

Here you’ll find lakes in The Lakes, springs (kind of) in The Springs, grassland in The Meadows, and gentle inclines in Emirates Hills. It’s a popular area for families as all properties have private gardens and there are communal swimming pools, tennis courts, activity areas, and parks for children.

Each development has its own style, ranging from 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses in The Springs, to 3-7 bedroom villas and townhouses in The Meadows and The Lakes, all the way to the grand mansions that line the lakefront and boulevards in Emirates Hills.

Experiences and amenities

Popular gym franchise Fitness First has branches in The Lakes, The Meadows and The Springs offering exercise classes, gym facilities and swimming classes. The network of lakes is popular with walkers, joggers and cyclists. And for golfers, the Montgomery (Emirates Hills golf club) is one of the region's must-see destinations, with 265 acres of man made lakes, gardens and bunkers. Emirates Living provides community swimming pools for residents, except for Emirates Hills where most homes have at least one pool. Other facilities include tennis courts, basketball courts and barbecue pits, set in a lush parkland ideal for picnics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Covering large parts of the land between The Greens and Jumeirah Park, the four Emirates Living developments are loosely linked by a series of lakes running from Jebel Ali Racecourse to Montgomery Dubai Golf Club. The area’s central location is handy for Sheikh Zayed Road, with Dubai Marina, Media City, Mall of the Emirates and many other places just a short drive away.

Emirates Living was developed by Emaar Properties, one of the country's largest real estate development companies with an impressive portfolio of projects (including the world's tallest tower Burj Khalifa).

There are lots of restaurants in Emirates Living, featuring two main food venues. The Lakes has the Reform Social & Grill, a gastro pub that serves quality British food, with an al fresco barbecue section and play area for children. Then there’s Monty’s, Links and Nineteen, a trio of restaurants around Montgomery Dubai golf club serving international cuisine, each with views across the greens.

Except for Emirates Hills, each development has a mall at its heart, with essential spots like pharmacies, banks, coffee shops, cafes and a supermarket. For fast food lovers, it’s a common sight to see delivery bikes buzzing to and from the area dispatching pizzas, burgers and other offerings to residents. There’s a Mediclinic nearby too – very convenient for any medical needs.

Without a car, Emirates Living transport can be an issue. The nearest Metro station is at Nakheel and the F31 bus runs regularly to and from Dubai Internet City Metro station (via The Greens) with a vast number of stops along the way, including Springs Town Centre.

There are nursery, primary and secondary schools in Emirates Living. Dubai British School (DBS) near Springs 3 has preschool, foundation, primary and secondary places. Emirates International School in Meadows 4 provides international education from early years through to year 13, and The Lakes is home to Raffles International School Nursery.
